About:

Lindenhurst High School’s Coffee House and Mentors Club, founded by senior Meagan Ramirez, recently hosted the second Share the Love concert in the high school auditorium. Local musicians, teachers and alumni came together to perform in benefit of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The club was established in hopes of connecting high students who would not typically spend time together. Students interact with each other without the labels of football player, band member or theater kid and perform community service acts together as simply friends and students. To date, the club has raised about $2,500 for the cause.
